3rd Rd of Sedges Winter Silver League

Today was the 3rd round of the sedges silvers winter league. I was drawn on peg 15, which is on the Brick pool.

I fed 4 balls of GB at 13m I also fed a small ball of crushed expander and pellets at 14m and the same at 8m.

I started on the 8m line with pellet no fish so after 25mins, I went onto the 14m pellet line and had a run of 4 skimmers. This line soon slowed so a look over the main GB line on maggot saw a few better skimmers caught, before that also started to slow. All I could catch was odd roach, which weren't coming quick enough.

I decided to top up all my lines and have a look on the feeder, after 40mins on the feeder and 2 more small skimmers, I went back onto my 8m line for another couple of small skimmers.

I rotated around lines for the rest of the match never really catching a good run of fish. I managed second in section with 10lb 14oz.
