A change of scenery for me saw me on peg111 at Viaduct fishery. I was happy with the draw because I wanted a day targeting silvers, as the silver weights of late have been great.

I decided on 2 main lines for skimmers, one at 14m, and a shorter line topkit and 3 sections. Both would be fed with 6mm meat, I started on the longer line kinder potting meat, had a lovely start with 15 skimmers in the first hourš. The second hour slowed some what, so I decided to drop on the shorter line, that I had been priming. To my surprise I didn't hook a fish here? Now what do I do now??
Went back long again tried pinging and different feeding patterns but it just wouldn't get going, even micro bought very little response. 1.5hrs to go decided I might as well catch some carp, so into the margins, sadly not bites or indicationsš¤Æ.
With 30mins to go I have setup a meat rig topkit and 1, thrown some meat and had a few indicationsš, last 20mins in was solid.ššš
I went over in carp net so it got knocked back to 60lb my silvers went 36lb 1oz, for a total of 96lb 1oz, this was about 7th overall on the day. There were 70lb+silver weights and Andy Power won comfortably with 390lb+. I've got a lot to learn about this place but I think I will be going more often.
