Acorn 2022 Spring league Rd2

It was my turn to be in B section this week, I was due a poor draw and so I wasn't surprised to find myself on peg 19.....not good☹. I decided my only chance was to be positive, see if I can make something happen. The wind was howling along the straight, I didn't fancy holding the pole across in that all-day, so I setup a method feeder. I started on the feeder, 2mms on the feeder and corn on the hook. After 45mins I had 2 fish for 6lb, the carp were tailing up over my feeder, but I just couldn't catch them. I came short onto my topkit line had a tench and a small carp. This line soon dried up, so early look in the margin produced a 9lber😊👍. I rotated between the topkit line and margin line for the rest of the match, nothing ever really got going and odd fish here and there was all I could manage. I finished with 52lb 10oz for 5th in section not the result I was hoping for☹.
