Return to Acorn

It's been a month or so since I last visited Acorn and with an up and coming spring league on the venue, I thought I better get over there. So off to a Tuesday affordable, 25 fishing and I was on peg 6, started short on hard pellet had 3 carp in the first 50mins. Went down the track and had a few more on the pellet. I did have a quick foray to the far bank and bridge but the wind was making it a waste of time.

So back down the middle and started putting maggot in and had a few more carp. With 1.5hrs to go thought I would try and catch short again on the pellet, nothing doing.(should have stayed in the track!!)

I finished up with 37lb 14oz for no where, I have learnt a few things ready for Saturday and hopefully I will fair a little better😊👍.
