Sedges 5th Round

Today was the 5th round of the silvers league at the Sedges, I drew peg 32 on Tile Lake. I need to win my section on the remaining two rounds so I had to get this right today.

I started short on meat, 2 big skimmers were my reward👍.

I then went out on the feeder for 20mins, looking to fluke a fish whilst I left the 13m line to settle. A carp on the feeder was all I could muster.

So onto the 13m line, this had been fed with 4 balls of green Tom Thick GB with a handful of casters. A couple of small fish were soon followed by 3 better skimmers, before the line seemed to slow. A top up then onto the 14m line fed with pellet , no bites here. Another look short nothing happened, back on the tip nothing again. The middle of the match slowed off for everyone.

I eventually had another run of better fish short and an eel over the GB line.

I weighed 16lb 8oz for a comfortable section win, although I did think I had 20lb so I had been over estimating the weights of these fish🤣🤣😂.
