Sedges Rd 4 Silvers league

So far I have had 3 2nds which in small 3 or 4man sections isn't quite good enough, I needed a 1st.

So I was well happy when I drew peg 8 definitely a good peg and a chance to get the illusive section win.

I fed 3 balls of GB laced with dead pinkies at 13Metres, I then fed a tiny amount of GB & a few pellets at 14.5M.

I setup the feeder incase I felt another line was required.

I started long on the pellet line, I had a few early small skimmers, and a couple of nice 1.5lb ones as well. Peg 7 was matching me early on, I thought a good weight and a tough battle were on the cards.

I dropped onto the positive 13m line and it didn't produce, so back out long, I kept catching on this long line, it was slow and I had to wait. However it seemed everyone was struggling and I was doing OK in the section.

Occasionally I would try on the 13M line I did catch odd fish on it mostly roach, but it never really came good, I kept it topped up but they never arrived.(Never got the feeder wet, did start a shorter line on pellet but no good)

I finished with 16lb exactly, next weight in the section was 8lb odd so comfortable in the end. Nice days fishing a bit tough in a very cold wind, 2 carp lost, they are starting to feed now😊👍. 2 rounds to go, I will need 2 more wins for an outside chance of framing overall🤞🤞🤞
