Shiplate mainlake Match win

I decided to have another crack at one of the Thursday affordable matches on the main lake at Shiplate. A frosty morning dog walk had me questioning my sanity🤣😂.

I drew peg 4 so another short walk, I had mixed info from the regulars, but it was clear the peg hadn't fished well in the last match☹.

I started on the bomb and bread and I soon had a good sized carp in the net😊. This was followed by another 15mins later👍.

I got to 4 carp in the bag after 2 hrs, I dropped onto my pole lines which produced a few small silvers and a couple of skimmers.

With 1.5hrs to go I switched to corn on the bomb, fished over an area I had been pinging corn too. 2 more carp meant I finished with 6 carp and a few bits in the silvers bag.

Which saw me weigh 63lb 14oz and secure the match win😊👍
