Acorn disappointment

One thing and another meant that I hadn't fished Acorn for 3 weeks or so, so I was looking forward to getting back to my local water. I wasn't expecting to be drawn on peg 21 again, seems I can only draw 21 and 22 just lately🤣😂🤣.

It would prove to be a very tough day, I started over against mudline, went through my gambit of baits with nothing to show for my efforts.

I came short onto top and one lines, fishing hard pellet,managed just one tiny stocky☹🤯.

Back across slapping a hard pellet for 20mins but again no fish.

Time to put a load of bait in!!👊big pot of GB over and fish came into the swim, but couldn't catch um😡😡😡. Tried several baits and rig adjustment, just not happening.

Decided to feed the margin with GB and once again the fish arrived but were near impossible to hook?????

For the last hour I cobbled together a dodgy paste rig, and I mixed up some paste, I fished the margins with paste and managed to pick up a few fish for a total of 22lb😭😭😭.

59lb won the day and everyone had struggled, I've not known it fish this hard for some time?

Sedges tomorrow so hopefully they will be feeding better🤞🤞🤞
