Shiplate float only league

After 11 days without wetting a line, I was just happy to be out although somewhat disorganised🤣😂. I missed my turning on the motorway, left my rig roost at home and somehow managed to bring 2 feeder rods to a float only league??? Leaving my waggler rods in the shed🤦🤦🤦.

I drew peg 8 on the main lake, wind was blowing in and it looked good😊.

I started positive with short line 8mm hard pellets, had some good skimmers early on (no carp though??), soon enough things slowed and I started to open up more lines.

I had a meat line, a micros line and a hard pellet line. The hard pellet line did produce the most fish overall. I didn't hook a carp until the last 90mins. I finiahed with 49lb of carp and 16lb of skimmers for 65lb.

Caught all my carp at 11m mostly on 4mm pellet.

I think I was last in section, but one more fish could have seen me 3rd, so a close section. This leagues not going as well as my last one, but I'm enjoying fishing the new lakes and the learning curve is steep😊😊😊👍. Could be a while before I'm out again😭😭😭.
