Landsend 3rd Rd float only league

This league features 5 man sections, I had a 3rd and 4th in section going into this round so I am pretty much out of the running already.

With this in mind I fancied trying something a bit different from the usual approach.

So I setup to fish micro paste, I thought I would target the new stocked fish on a scaled down paste approach.

After 3hrs things were going OK and I was catching more silvers than anyone I could see on my lake.

After adding a section and chasing the fish out a bit I started hooking carp, this saw me changing to more aggressive feeding and bigger pieces of paste.

I had 40+lb of carp over the last 2.5hrs I finished with 59lb, 17lb of which were silver fish.

In hindsight I should have stuck at the silvers and kept to my refined approach as I could have picked up a prize for the silvers.

Great days fishing, plenty of good weights and loads of bites really enjoyed it.....apart from the rain🤣🤣😂👍

This venue is now totally different from how it was last year, great work going on at the fishery😊👍
