A late decision to turn up to the midweeker at Sedges. My only prep was to cube 2 tins of meat. I drew peg23 a good peg, I setup a pellet wag, method feeder, plus 4 short pole lines covered by 2 rigs.
Carp were cruising everywhere, so I started by trying to mug them with a little mugging wag. I wasn't able to get any takes so I went onto the method line. One skimmer and a carp but it was slow.
Onto the deep pole lines fed with 4mm meat and a run of skimmers.
This slowed back on the feeder another couple of skimmers and a carp.
I went back on pole lines and the skimmers kept coming slowly.
2hrs to go I started a new line fishing shallow with meat, this produced a few more skimmers and one carp before it died.
Finished on the method, for one more carp and a skimmer.
25lb of carp 25lb of silvers, 50lb for no where.
I really haven't got to grips with this venue yet, but I will be back👍
